What we collect
When you create a Permit Central account, we collect your email address, the trades you work, and the ZIP codes you cover. We use these to tag new building permits and send you a daily digest of the ones that match.
How payments work
Billing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe processes payments securely and we only store the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers needed to manage your account.
Where the permit data comes from
Permit data comes from public City of Dallas records and may contain errors or omissions. Permit Central is an independent service and is not affiliated with the City of Dallas.
Your choices
You can change your trades and ZIPs, turn the daily email on or off, or cancel your subscription anytime from your settings. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
